Montreal, November 3rd, 2014 – As part of the Caregivers’ Week in Quebec, running from November 2 to 8, 2014, the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association (CGPA) is very proud to announce its continued association with the Care-ring Voice Network through a contribution of $25,000. This will allow the organization, which helps caregivers, to hold webinars (online training workshops) on the safe use of medications.
“Too often, caregivers are under supported and don’t have enough information regarding the proper use of medications, the compliance with the subscription and the prevention of risks related to interactions or side effects. The CGPA is pleased to support family caregivers through a program model that allows them remote access from the comfort of their home or office and is adapted to their busy lives,” said Jim Keon, President of the CGPA.
“It’s through contributions such as the one made by the CGPA that we can continue to strongly support caregivers who regularly ask important questions about the medications the seniors they care for take. We would like to sincerely thank the Association for this honourable gesture,” added Mark Stolow, President of the Care-ring Voice Network.
The training workshops provide an opportunity for caregivers to learn, get answers and share their experiences with the medication taking habits of the seniors they take care of. Here are the details:

About the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association
The CGPA represents the Canadian-based generic pharmaceutical industry. It plays an important role in limiting costs in the Canadian healthcare system.
